Drumroll, please….
Finally! I went with Artfire in the end. Got my buns in gear and set up shop, finally listing my first thing today. Yay! Much, much more tweaking to do as I learn the ropes but it’s a start, right?
So go check it out already!
I’m giving myself a week or so to settle into the shop there and then I’ll tiptoe towards opening the SpeedKin.com website. Baby steps, baby steps…
While you’re here, check out my so-close-to-being-done-it-hurts chicken house flower raised bed!

The poles and gate still need prettied up and painted and the gate is awaiting its latch but the bed is now safe from giant dog butt. Yay!

It houses various bulbs, a lilac, my recently acquired spiderwort, dwarf sunflowers, cleome, coleus, begonias, Solomon’s seal, and an odd assortment of “Man, I have way too many assorted flower seed packets and I really should plant them so how about I have the kids help me scatter them about and then won’t be able to differentiate them from weeds as they sprout” things. Ahem.

A bulby thingymajig of the most beautiful sort.

Steeping stones are in place so I can keep perennials safe from my giant, clumsy feet throughout the year.

Glyph of significant envy!!!!
We have some of those purpley flowers in the flower bed at work, we have a few different types of plants with simular leaves too.
Lookin’ GOOD, woman!
Did I miss the final badge post?
Thanks, gals!
Anita, hmm… I know I have it on my computer here somewhere… I give up. I’ll have to ask Isaac to help me find it tomorrow. The SpeedKin site won’t actually be going up until this weekend or so anyway.
Omg, those are cute! And they’re sooo cheap! I might have to buy one for my mom. Do you think she’d be ok with me hijacking her credit card to pay for her gift? Lol.
They are canvas material though right? Or at least something sturdy that won’t tear easily?
Ok, I’m definitely going to have to get her the tan country scene repurposed denim book tote bag. It’s too cute. I’ll ask her if I can get it. Save one for me ok?
Willow, yep, I make them all sturdy — the denim ones especially — BUT don’t go swiping your mom’s credit card, you goober. ;-0 I don’t have enough $$ to bail you out…
Lol, I asked and she said I could get one. I was like “so mommy, I found this really cute bag for you online that I wanted to get you as a surprise, but I need your credit card to buy it. So can I borrow your credit card in like a week and then would you act surprised in about a month?” I did it in my “little kid voice” so I would sound all innocent; she laughed and caved immediately. So let me know when get the shop going because I would love to buy one!
Willow, you’re a bad, bad boy!
Thank you for the compliment.
